Since the release of ‘Love Yourself: HER’, BTS have continued to strive and shine the light on K-Pop worldwide.
The release of lead single ‘DNA‘ caused the group to debut in countries such as UK, Ireland, Canada, Sweden and the Philippines.
After debuting on the Billboard 200 at #7, the highest charting album for a Korean act, and landing in at #85 on the Hot 100, they’ve certainly made their mark in America.
BTS have furthered their success by climbing 18 places to secure number #67 on the Hot 100, the highest charting single for a Korean group since Wonder Girls’ ‘Nobody’ in 2009, a record that the girl group held for 8 years.

They are now the second highest charting Korean act ever, only after singer PSY’s 2012 viral hit single ‘Gangnam Style’.
With the rise of DNA on the Billboard Hot 100, the BTS Army are keener than ever to keep them rising, especially since rapper Suga (Min Yoongi) expressed that the latest goal for the group is to enter the top 50 in 2018. Something tells us that this goal may be coming sooner than expected.

The global success of the group is undeniable, especially after selling over 826k albums in their first week on the Hanteo chart, with many physical albums being shipped worldwide from South Korea.
