Caroline Wozniacki has returned to Sports Illustrated for its 2017 Swimsuit Issue, and despite only wearing teeny-tiny string bikinis, the star is actually more covered up than she was in 2016.
Whereas last year the 26-year-old rocked a painted-on one-piece, this year Caroline posed in a series of very real swimsuits while enjoying the sand and sun in Turks & Caicos' Parrot Cay.
With the absence of paint, though, she is certainly revealing more skin this year in a barely-there halter bikini top and a series of cheeky thong bikini bottoms.

Caroline is clearly thrilled to have been including, sharing a photo of herself in a low-cut neon one-piece with cut-outs up the side on Instagram.
'So excited and honored to be included in the issue for the third straight year,' she wrote, adding a shout-out to the magazine's editor. 'Thank you @mj_day for believing in me and for making every shoot memorable and for making me part of the #SISwim family!'
She also posted a second image from the shoot, showing her in a very sporty green one-piece on the tennis court.
'Tennis in bathing suits... Who's in?!' she wrote.

In other images on the SI website, she models a green string bikini, a simple red two-piece, a flimsy, lacy yellow number, and a white bikini with a sizzling cut-out over her chest.
It seems that the styling department for the magazine was unable to find a swimsuit that adequately covered Caroline's backside, as each piece she wore showed off the asset.
Caroline is one of three tennis players to appear in the athlete-packed Swimsuit Issue this year: Grand Slam title record-holder Serena Williams and Eugenie Bouchard also posed.

Caroline also posed for the special issue in 2016, traveling to Petit St. Vincent in the Grenadine islands to pose in risque one-piece swimsuit made entirely of body paint.
'I feel totally naked. But when I look in the mirror, it's the weirdest thing — I feel like I have plenty of clothes on,' she says in a clip from last year's shoot. 'It's kind of a surreal experience. 'I have never done anything like this before, so it makes it very special.'
'Knowing what an incredible suit I have on right now, and we are in the most beautiful place here so I am sure the photos are going to be amazing,' she said.
'It's very tiny. There is not a lot here,' one make-up artist said of the crimson faux-suit, which featured nude-cutouts.
'I love my body paint, and it has been such an unbelievable experience, really,' she said after a long day shooting on the beach.
