The Miami Dolphins (3-3) fell to the Minnesota Vikings (5-1) on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium as tight end Mike Gesicki doubled down on doing the griddy despite drawing criticism last time he tried to pull off the dance move.

Gesicki, 27, finished the game with 69 yards and two touchdowns on six catches, but it was not enough to push Miami past Minnesota.

After his first TD, Gesicki celebrated by doing his poor man's version of the griddy, a celebration made popular by Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and others around the league.

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III took to Twitter to plead somebody stop Gesicki from doing "his unseasoned griddy."

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase echoed Griffin's comments, mocking Gesicki's griddy.

Dolphins fall short amid QB struggles

Dolphins QB Teddy Bridgewater threw for 329 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on 23-for-34 completed passes.

Bridgewater, 29, stepped on the field to replace QB Skylar Thompson, who left early in the game with a thumb injury.

Tua Tagovailoa is slated to start Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers after clearing concussion protocols on Saturday.

Vikings look to extend their win streak to five next Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
