Ryder Cup rebel Patrick Cantlay is on the lookout for a new hat sponsor after Goldman Sachs put an end to their collaboration.
The American golfer kicked up a fuss at the Ryder Cup in September when he refused to wear a hat.
The controversy revolved around what seemed to be a dispute over pay, with golfers not receiving a penny at the Ryder Cup.
It led to jeers from the European fans, particularly as Team USA faltered at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club across the tournament.
But now the eight-time PGA Tour winner has lost his hat sponsor Goldman Sachs, who will not renew their deal which expires in 2024.
Goldman signed a three-year contract with Cantlay in 2020 to have their logo on his hat, the first time the bank have entered the golfing world.

That was extended by one year in 2023 but the company have revealed that they will not be renewing for a second time.
“We constantly evaluate the firm’s partnerships, and at this time, our logo will no longer appear on his hat,” a Goldman spokesman told DealBook.
While it appears Cantlay's antics at the Ryder Cup were unrelated to Goldman's decision to leave behind their sponsorship deal, it means the 31-year-old is without a sponsor ahead of the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.
Meanwhile, Cantlay denied that he was protesting over pay at the Ryder Cup.

He insisted: "The hat doesn't fit. It didn't fit at Whistling Straits [in 2021], and didn't fit this week. Everyone knows that.
"I was going to go no hat all week regardless, so I figured I would keep it consistent."
However, the decision seemed to cause a rift in Team USA as reports emerged of disquiet in the American camp.
There would be further ripples when Cantlay's caddie Joe LaCava infuriated Rory McIlroy by waving his cap at fans, who had been taunting the American, after a decisive putt on the 18th.
McIlroy was trying to line up his own putt and told LaCava to get out of the way, which was allegedly ignored.
The altercation spilled out into the car park where the Northern Irishman hit out at golf caddie Jim Mackay and had to be restrained by Shane Lowry.
